DESCRIPTION:This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nOur CPR mask kit provides essential protection during mouth-to-mouth resuscitation for both adults\, children and infants. This compact emergency kit is reusable and includes 2 transparent face masks with a disposable one-way valve to prevent direct contact while performing CPR\, one that fits adults and children and the another that fits infants. The mask’s unique design accommodates both adult and pediatric patients\, featuring an anatomically shaped dome that creates an effective seal. Each kit comes with the 2 masks\, disposable gloves\, alcohol wipes\, and detailed instructions in a portable case that is great for your car\, home\, work\, or in a bag! This kit meets OSHA and FDA guidelines for personal protective equipment during CPR administration.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nThis kit includes 2 adult manikins\, 2 infant manikins\, 2 AED trainers with extra pad sets\, and a durable carrying bag to keep everything organized. Each manikin features Prestan’s built-in CPR feedback monitor\, which uses LED lights to let students know when they’re hitting the correct compression depth and rate. Feedback devices are required by the American Red Cross and American Heart Association\, so you’ll be in compliance from day one. This is the exact equipment you’ll train on during your instructor course\, so by the time you leave class you’ll already be comfortable setting it up\, demonstrating techniques\, and troubleshooting. We’ll also cover manikin maintenance\, so you know how to keep your equipment in top shape. Enough to teach a class of up to 8 students right out of the box.
